Did the HD die? If not, do you have a desktop? If so, just plug in the laptop HD into the desktop. If it's not running as a boot drive, most of the info on a drive should still be available.

Very clean. If I ever had an S4 though, I wouldn't debadge it. It's such a minimalistic badge, I think it looks good on the rear.

Encrypted with what? And what actually broke?
If you mean it's locked by windows unless you're logged into your account, boot into Linux. Linux laughs at windows security and you can view your files normally.

corrupted boot partition and I encrypted with an encryption program. I don't want to say because Amazon doesn't like people knowing their ****. I'm gonna boot it up a linux box anyway and see what happens.
