It does, but I'm sure it still moves pretty good.

That's because it never runs.

I wonder how the 997 I posted would fare against a stock bike. I am guessing pretty well? 5.5S 60-130 is pretty damn fast.

Sup.

Also the newer 135s were single turbo. Slap a big single on it and go to town.

400whp isn't hard to accomplish with a 135/335 at all. They're like 350 on pump with intake/exhaust/tune. Meth, intercooler, etc, and I could see 500 easy. Maybe mod the turbos or run td04 CHRA and cold side if it fits.

Edit: Pete it depends on the bike. Maybe a 600, but I doubt a liter bike. The one I just posted makes like 165whp lol

can't just stick a big turbo on everything and call it a day. Well you can, but it may not always last very long. Each car is different. Then you have drive-ability concerns, etc. Power for the sake of power is dumb.

People have been doing it with good results on the n55s, I believe.

I'd be really happy with a 996. Was behind a ~450whp one the other day and the torque it had is insane. Whole car jumped over a half a lane when he got on it in second.

996 turbo will forever be one of my favorite cars. I don't know that I'm a huge fan of the interior though.

I agree, but I'd get over it for how sexy the exterior is. That, and awd+good power.

Not sure that is normal. I recall a conversation where one of my friends was saying he drove another local 996tt that would step over like that and my friend who owns the silver 996tt I have posted a couple times says his does not do that (and his car is faster) and he suspects the other car has something wrong with it (which is likely given other facts...)

I am not sure exactly what my friends car made on the dyno (he is very humble and has never really told me) but I have the numbers 475 and 500 stuck in my head, so I think it is in that range.

I can't remember what he said, but I think it was a second gear clutch dump. Roads were probably still a bit cold, but either way it was badass. His car runs seriously good for just being a bolt on/clutch car.

There's some gopro footage, not sure if he uploaded it yet

Any idea what kind of times it runs? Though the repsols are one of the fastest bikes, I thought. I know from a dig where the weight plays a big factor a liter bike is almost untouchable, but what about on the highway where the aero starts to come into play for the bike?

edit - found this, was the only bike listed:
5.9 - GSXR 1000 with bolt-ons [/img]

so it would beat at least that bike. but doesn't say what year it is. I'm sure there are faster than bikes, but still pretty nice to be in the discussion with a liter bike in a car.
