Drive a stock fbody camaro/trans-am then drive a stock 335i/135i

Then drive a modified fbody and a modified n54 that are both around 400-500hp

in a straight line the response from a v8 is just absurd at that level

indeed. I'm not saying it is better, I just like them and find them to be a ton of fun to drive. Though I've never owned a turbo car either, so hoping to try that.

That 13T car I drove was around 420awhp and even more torque. It felt nice.

I dunno though. I can't argue about something I don't know about, and I've never been in a fast N/A car

granted I've only driven relatively slower turbo cars (13's in the 1/4), but throttle response seems so much better N/A.

the thing with a turbo car like mine you think it's pretty slow then around 2300-2500 you're punched with 18-20psi

I've been in a pretty fast (by my standards at least, I think it is probably a low 11 sec car for reference) 996tt and you can definitely feel a big surge in power when the turbos kick in (they are not huge turbos, they are modified stock units) as opposed to the linear response of an NA motor. Not the same unless I am driving, though. I also find NA cars sound better.

BOV != wastegate...

Big loud external wastegates are the crazy whining/screaming noises you hear under full throttle, not the sounds you hear when you let off.
