Actually it doesn't Alan. It's heavier, reducing any kick the G6R had before. It's got a nicer balance than the original g6r because of the added weight as well.

With the new bolt, it's also quieter.

Is it still a g6r? Yes. Is it improved? Definitely.

I guess you can say that the feel is improved more than the shot has improved, even though there's no way to really explain what I'm talking about.
