Hot markers man
I love flame timmies, and just poppets in general, Spoolies are cool, and there are a select few I want, but I pretty much love all poppet guns lol

I would certainly agree on the Impulse, but I also think that the Flame G6r will DEFINITELY be a classic someday. They are absolutely stunning in the same way the the KAPP Flame Cockers are, and they are certainly classics.

I ordered the Flame when they came out March(ish) I think I got it in June. I specifically asked for that anno. Not sure if it was the only done like that. I was depressed when I seen Bob was releasing the Flames to ANS. So much for having something kinda special. LOL
The Impulse never had a chance. Not because of design but of business practices is what doomed it. I feel it was ahead of its time or maybe just on time. Too bad it didn't get the chance it deserved. However, I got one and it is a really nice shooting marker. Very close to the G6R. Sound signature is a little louder. (barrel probably) Its real close to kick as the G6R but it could be in my tuning too. The G6R is smooth as hell. I've had 5 G6rs since their introduction and probably will never own a PE Gun or Spoolie. Its that good out of the box.
The G6R gets shot every weekend and tournaments. It doesn't just look good its the workhorse.

But the thing is that the 2009 Impulse will never be re-released while the G6R will be sold as long as people buy it.

Classic implies desirable and rare. 09 impulse, not so much.
Flame won't be a dc2 like classic but might be in the same category as ripper milling abomb.

The 09 Impy is pretty rare, and from what I've seen, fairly desirable as well.
The flame G6R, not so much as rare.

Classic does not imply rare...

2
: of or relating to the ancient Greeks and Romans or their culture : classical
3
a : historically memorable <a classic battle>
b : noted because of special literary or historical associations <Paris is the classic refuge of expatriates>
4
a : authentic, authoritative
b : typical <a classic example of chicanery> <a classic error>
5
capitalized : of or relating to the period of highest development of Mesoamerican and especially Mayan culture about a.d. 300–900

I think both fit that definition.
Classic does NOT imply or mean rare. Many cars that are considered classic are also not rare.

1/2" PVC pipe. Made it specifically for markers without macrolines.

I'm a mostly a spoolie-Luxe-Shocker boy. But this weekend (yesterday), I played with my 09 Impulse... WOW. Luved it. Shot smooth as freakin' butter. Very impressed with the "feel" of the Impulse. Surprised with it's air efficiency as well.
It turned heads too! One player actually noticed it, turned to me and said, "Woah. What gun is THAT?!" I joked and said, "It's an SP Impulse 2013". I let him try it out and shoot it. He was like, "That is amazing! I've never seen that one before." When I told him that I was kidding, that it's an old gun produced in 2009 and no longer in production, he wanted one EVEN MORE! hehe. Glad I already got mine!
Man!- If GOG/SP would just make replacement valve cores for these things!... More people wouldn't hesitate picking these up. Hopefully one day.

Did I miss something and the new impy is a desirable marker now?
Last time I checked they were filled with problems, specifically with the popit. When they came out I remember people letting go of their luxe 1.0's for them. I bet they regret that.....
The flame on the other hand is amazing. Keep it forever, and don't let it get too beat up.
