Need converson help.
I'm picking up a Black Magic and I want to convert it into a pump. Please point me in the right direction. Keep in mind that pump is not my main game. It's just something I do for fun so I don't need top dollar stuff.

Point you in the right direction as far as??? building a pump that will work or something really personalised? if you just want to slap a pump kit on so that you can play pump every now and again, i would say go with an economy pump kit. the hooptie kits/ stock wgp kits are cheap and will get the job done just fine. just pull your front block pneus off and slap the guide rod in. everything else should remain about the same.

like he said hooptie for just if your playing for fun now and then but if you want to play more often spend the extra $45 and get a ccm

Ok so it's just as simple as pulling off the front block and installing a pump kit. I was on paintballgateway and checking the kits out.

black magics fall under the 2k+ category of cockers. so youll need a 2k+ spec pump kit.
unless its the 05/06 model thats a midblock, then youll need a kit that can fit 05 models. it would be listed as 05 black magic or superstock.
basically you just disconnect the pump arm, and actuating rod from the 3 way (make a note of how far it was threaded in), unscrew the najo bolt that holds the front block on, remove front block and pneu's....install pump kit. |

they do have pump kits for black majics... if yours is pre 2k5 it would use a standard 2k pump kit. they also have the pump kit for the midblocked black majic wich is a later model then a 2k5.
anyone ells care to add anything? |
