From what I have played its definitely better than 2/3/Reach online, but PC/CE is still better imo.

This game is NOT better than Halo 2. There will never be a better game than Halo 2. I do like this game though. My only gripe is the maps, or lack thereof. I feel like there are only 4 maps in the game that anyone ever plays. |

I notice if you play different modes the player select different maps. I started playing Odd ball and Flood and the maps were different. Slayer and Big Slayer same maps all day.

In oddball and flood they just always choose complex so they can hide in that stupid glitch.
Saw an SR 55 earlier today, some people just have too much time.

Purely opinionated statement.
The thing that gets me is the whole class deal. I really preferred it with the weapons spawning on the map as opposed to being dropped out of the sky.

I like it with how it drops. Gives you a chance to get a decent weapon. Otherwise the conquering team is just going to keep beating you down because they have map control, allowing them to have whatever guns they want.

guns should be placed over the map. i hate drops, even though they are easy to get

One of the maps is totally a rehash of Ice Fields from the PC/Mac version of Halo:CE. I personally would love to see more of those, as the PC version maps were fantastic. I want some Death Island or Danger Canyon.

I think the grenades are plenty powerful already. I've already had several kills from just one grenade, which was an absolute rarity in Halo 3.

Grenades are awesome and balanced. Throw those ****ers at their feet and start shooting or when they go to melee you stick em'.

I think people are complaining about grenades because they can't get warthog kills worth a **** anymore.
That extra grenade perk is hilarious if you run plasma's though. Grenade throws seem just a bit faster and more accurate on this, as well has having a higher priority online, as I often can get a grenade the SECOND I die. You can toss two plasma grenades onto any vehicle just before it hits and kills you. Or three really fast onto the back of a tank and it's pretty much done.

There is a legitimate grenade glitch as well. All you do is sprint RIGHT after you throw a grenade. You'll notice the grenade pretty much shoots out of your reticule. Makes getting sticks much easier.

DMR/other long range weapons need to be less accurate over long range, then this game will be perfect.
Oh, and Ragnarok needs to be removed. Worst multiplayer map of all time.

Ya. They just aren't Halo though. Halos traditional long range weapon is the Sniper.
Headshot killboxes and aim assist need to be toned down too.

I loved Valhalla, but ragnarok is too open for Halo 4s mechanics. You can't go anywhere without being killed by a DMR.
And the Mantis is just indestructable, doesn't do too much damage, but you can't kill it. You can take it out with a plasma pistol, but good luck getting close to it on that map
