I feel like this is going to blow the last two COD games out of the water. There is so much more anticipation for this. An actual sequel to Halo 3 as opposed to ****ty ODST or Reach.
I've been waiting for this since 3 ended.

I was wondering when this thread was going to get made. I preordered my copy last night from Newegg because I found a $12 off promo code and the Microsoft Store was out of stock. Can't wait for it to get here. Now I just have to go drop 2000 MSP on DLC for a game that isn't even out yet. **** that.

uhg, I think I'm just gonna crash tonight and wait to get the game tomorrow. I've been up for 35 hours as of right now, I might be able to make it to launch, but there is no way I will be able to play much of the game tonight, or enjoy it at all.

Amazing. One of the best games I have played in a while. The multiplayer is very well polished and I can see myself spending a lot of time with it.
It looks great and feels awesome. The campaign is okay so far, a little bit more corny than usual and gets awfully repetitive, but I don't buy games for the single player.

Oh boy...just finished the campaign and I'm stoked for 5 & 6. It was a great story and the scene after the credits is only slightly different between normal/heroic/legendary.
I just did normal to work my way through the story. I'll go back and co-op it on legendary some other time. This game was astounding.
Haven't even touched the Multi-player yet but I'm installing the disc now.

Got through one MP game before the servers went down again, but I like it. I like the weapons, though some of the Promethean weapons feel a little over powered. I feel like dying is easier in this game too. Again, I haven't played much, so we'll see how much my opinion changes.

Played a few games of slayer pro. MUCH better than reach, I would say better than Halo 3 if it had more good maps.
