Are you going to run this on a race format? For D4 is it going to be a Race to 2, Race to 3, Race to 4? What are the other selections of paint? Is the $45 high quality paint or similar to rec ball. What will be the awards for each division for each tournament date? Will there be a payoff of the entry fee similar to the race format that is out now with medals/plaque? Will you utilize a smaller field than the 5 man field or same size field? Sorry to hit you with all the questions but seems like a good Winter Series.

I will be checking on the format the event coordinator plans on using and get you an answer also the paint is Mid grade but we can provide any paint sold by valken if you pre order atleast 5days prior to the event the field size will depend on the weather we offer both indoor and outdoor prizes will be provided by our sponsors currently NXE and VALKEN are on bored with more expected I'm just waiting on a few call backs also series winners for each division will win trophies and a larger gear prize I'm working on that part now and will advise when it is finalized but it is going to be very worthwhile

Is the division ranking going to be what they are ranked on Oct 21st? So if someone is ranked D5 right now, they would play in the D5 group on Oct 21st? Also, do all players have to be in that division or is one allowed to be from a division higher, like normal 5 man events?

Each team will play the other teams in their division twice

Point break down will be as followed

Alive Players - 10pts each
Eliminated Players - 10pts Each
Flag Pull - 20pts
Flag Hang - 20Pts

each team may have 1 person from a higher division on their team

as noted in the event listing you will be able to play the field layout 1 week prior to event, also prior to the tournament you will receive a schedule with what teams you will be playing and at what times.

Prizes will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place in all divisions.

1st place will receive 100.00 and valken gear
2nd place will receive 80.00 and valken gear

if you have any other questions fill free to ask away!

Didn't see this answered.

Also - will APPA points be awarded for these events?

FPO?

Thanks!

We are assuming (and you know what that usually means) that the ranking is their current ranking on Oct 21st. We are taking a D4 and a D5 team from the Nashville area. Hopefully the other teams will start registering and paying soon so we get a good turnout. Right now I don't think there are enough teams signed up.

Great tournament. It was a well run tournament and the refs did a great job. Hope we will make it back for the November tourney.

Pretty good tournament. I would like to offer some constructive comments. Refs need to have ref jerseys or something bright so we don't shoot them thinking they are players. One ref came flying up to and slid near one of our players that thought he was an opponent so he turned on him and ended getting shot in the back from cross field so that team essentially had 4 against us with that ref move. Also, since this is not a race format, there should be some kind of a dead box. With refs running around (doing a pretty good job), it's impossible to know the kill count in that tight of a field. It would have been nice to have a bright shell with the low lighting. Overall, a pretty good event.
