Matching is lame.
If you still want to use your stock barrel, get the iFit Barrel System. It's kinda like a freak system from smart parts (if you are aware, I'm not sure).
If you want to get a new barrel as a whole, CP has decent priced barrels, widely used across many paintballers. Dye UL's are good, also popular, but more expensive.
It depends how much you're willing to pay. Best bang for your buck kind of thing.
I've heard awesome things about lucky barrels as well.

lucky 15 - $40 and shoot quiet and straight
http://warpedsportz.com/luckybarrels.aspx
lurker barrel - just like the lucky barrel but lighter and 14inches, quiet and accurate
http://www.lurkerpb.com/barrels/the-eigenbarrel/
Those are the two cheapest options I would go with. If you want to spend more, dye barrels are my favorite.

....see thats my problem. Is a cheap $40 barrel thaaatttt much more accurate than the stock one that its worth sacrificing the look of my gun???

I have an Eigenbarrel (made by Lurker if I remember right) and I love it. Not sure why ( I do not know specifics) but the shot just seems smoother and straighter than my stock. Prolly because it underbores my paint. It will not just drop through the barrel. I can blow it through though.
Have a CP barrel on my IQ and while I do like it alot...I have to say I like the shot of the Eigenbarrel better. Only problem with the Eigen, it only comes in dust and gloss black, but IMO that matches most guns at least somewhat. Get a gloss one and you will be good

If you really want to keep your matching stock barrel you could have it bored out to accept freak inserts. That way you can change the bore size and the barrel still matches the gun.

yes, the stock barrel has a large bore and the internal finish isnt that great.

I think I wanna try out this ifit kit from techt but just kinda skeptical with it being $100 bucks and all...and reallyyyy, how many of those different bores am I ever gonna use. especially since I always buy the same paint. probly under bore it by one or two sizes max..maybe ill just try to find the adapter and buy a couple of those bore sleeves separately and save some cash. anybody actually use this kit???? does it improve accuracy enough to spend that much??

I have a freak barrel and use 2-3 at most. Unless you travel a lot and play all over, your paint shouldn't be that different. That's just my opinion. Side question, any know of a cf front for a freak?

I have an ifit and get between a 15 and 20fps gain pending marker used. You will be surprised at the usage of all the inserts.

found somebody that can bore out my stock barrel so that the freak bore kit inserts can just slide into that instead of having to get a different color tip for the kit. sounds like a pretty awesome idea. however, for the price of that labor and each insert I can basically buy an ifit kit for the same amount. soooo my next question. Freak bore kit vs techt ifit kit!!???? which is more accurate and efficient!?!?!?

I have the iFit and I have bored out my G4 and G5 stock barrels for Freak inserts. I like both options but would suggest you bore out the stock barrel. It keeps the look of the marker and is cheaper. As you said before, if you aren't going to use all the inserts, why buy them all? There are 2 guys on MCB who bore barrels and they both do good work and are stand up guys.

Considering smart parts tanked and the freak kits survived says a lot about them.

It means the intellectual property that was making $ was sold off to avoid becoming property of their creditors.. like dlx. Honestly, the freak isn't great...they were just the first decent barrel kit and had the market cornered for a time. There are a number of better kits out now

Yes.....for large paint. Smallest Redz bore is a 0.687 = . Far too big for paint these days - unless one likes to overbore.
