Empire does a fine job too. I was in the same boat you were. I wanted something that wouldn't restrict movement. They are the best I've worn.

I absolutely love my Sly arm pads...They don't restrict movement at all and they help a ton with bounces.

The PE pads for $40 dollars is worth it, I wear an older pair of 2009 empire pads. I'm getting the PE pads once mine finally rip.
