I noticed that a couple freak barrels sets I own have an oring ( deadly winds and freak). Should I lube that ring at all? The other non freak barrel kits do not have this oring. Also, where would I get a replacement one...never seen them on websites before.

I think they are #17 orings.

This o-ring does not see much friction aside from placing new inserts into the barrel. If it is difficult to to insert or remove inserts, some users have put a very light coat of oil over the o-ring/s but this isn't a requirement. In the very unlikely event that the o-ring becomes damaged, they are generally #17 assuming you don't have some odd custom job that was performed to a non-freak accepting barrel.

if you have a freak barrel, you should lube the two o-rings that hold the insert in place. It makes it much easier to slide the insert in and out. If you let it get too dry, it will be very difficult to remove the insert. I found that out the hard way lol. As for o-rings on the end of barrel threads, i would leave those unlubed. It helps keep the barrel on there snugly.

I use forehead oil to oil barrel o-rings.
