I'd post in the Hawaii forum and see what local ballers there are. I think getting a scuba tank refill and getting some paint brought in for you from the mainland on some backwoods games would be sweet.
Do you have some woods area you can go to play?
If you want, I'll get a group together and bring out the paint, say 8 cases, and we'll set up a 4 on 4 woodsball course.
Played there this summer while visiting. Packed everything but a tank. Brandon loaned me his, Dr.Gonzo sold me a Lapco barrel that they were all rocking at a great price. Pump competition was outstanding.
On Oahu, there are two fields. One at Bellows Airforce Base on the East Side. Privately managed and open to the public. Most players seem to be non military. They have a scenario game in Jan every year and maybe more depending on player demand. When they use the entire property for a scenairo game, could easily accomodate 200-400 players. Lots of brush and jungle on the back 40 with trails. I built a pair of mech warrior walking tanks for them. It is literally just off the beach so plan to recuperate with some sandwiches and beer down on the public beach after the play.
The other is on the North side of Pearl Harbor between Wakiki and the airport. South side of the interstate. Dirt mounds, spools, tires, bunkers, etc. Always a pretty good crowd of air soft and paintball on weekends.
Both are well managed with air and CO2 fills. I assume gas for the airsoft field as well.
Carefully planned irresponsibility is the KEY to mental health.
If you haven't grown up by age 50........
You don't have to......
