Saturday Night Speedball@Paintball Valley

First Saturday of every month from April 7th through September 1st, 2012
6 pm - 9 pm

Speedball only, no rentals available. Established players only, please.

Admission: $15/person, which includes all-evening air and field entry.

Paint: $40/case, $10/bag of 500
We currently carry Valken Infinity/Field; Field Paint Only, Please.

Each of these Saturday Nights is geared towards being a fun, laid-back after-work speedball venue for team practice and local open play, without the concern of having inexperienced or young players present. Our newly re-formed home team, The Guard, will be playing every month, so you're guaranteed to find other players.

hey I am one of the guys who came out this past weekend. I was wondering if you guys are planning on changing the layout of the field. Spacing seemed a little off. I would love to see this take off. It would be really nice to have a local field to play at. Thanks again for playing with us and helping us join in some games.

We're going to change the layout once a month throughout the summer. Spacing's been an issue ever since we had some kids tampering with the bunkers...we have a number of tethers that have broken, so repairs/adjustments have been continuous during the winter months. All the same, new layouts every month, so every SNS event will be brand new. I'll be taking a measuring tape out before the first event to square everything up.

Alright, the first Saturday we are offering this is fast-approaching. The field layout has been changed, and the home team played on it this past weekend. I've heard from a fair number of players who anticipate attending, so we'll look forward to seeing you all there at 6pm on Saturday!

We all had a great time last Saturday night! We missed those of you who couldn't make it, but we'll look forward to next month.

As attendance improves, you can expect that, in the future, we will open up additional Saturday evenings, but for now, we'll see you on May 5th!

I was extremely pumped until I saw the prices...30 for entry? 55 a case for china ball? I don't think so....throwing down nearly 100 bones for an evening of paintball? I have nothing more to say.

Major Update:

You talked, and we listened. The PB management had a discussion today, and have agreed to change the listed prices for the monthly Saturday Night Speedball event to better reflect the type of event it is. A player-run event, for players.

Our next scheduled evening of shenanigans is Saturday, May 5th. If you plan to come, a simple typed confirmation including the time you expect to arrive will immensely help with preparations for the event.

Im new to the area and am getting back into the sport. On sundays when is the best time at paintball valley? Also does anyone play there on saturdays?

Sorry...I forgot to mention that the first post had been updated to reflect the new pricing. Yes, it's $15/entry, $40/case.

As for when to play, Paintball Valley has a longstanding reputation of not catering very well to individual players. I'm working to change this, and look forward to seeing more "regulars" showing their faces here soon. If you want to play speedball, the monthly Saturday evenings are your best bet. If attendance grows, we will add additional dates during the month for the deal. If you're just looking for open play, we have a steady stream of booked and walk-on groups on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the summer months (and winter, to some extent) that you're welcome to hop in with. Just expect that,with the way things are, you won't be playing against large numbers of experienced players; rather mostly renters and first-timers. Bear in mind, that's how things are now. Hopefully, things will continue to change for the better!

Thanks for the info greg. I played at a pretty high level 5-6yrs ago. Now im out of shape and im getting back into paintball to help with weightloss. Id love to find some decent guys to play some 3 and 5 man tournys with. For fun but im extremely competitive. Also if your running any tournies there id love to help ref.

My name is Justin btw and I am with the Undertakers.

PV was the first actual field I played at and the place means alot to me. Its great field with alot of stuff in the works.

They are one of the biggest fields in the state as well; Eclipsing WRP even.
