take the whole thing apart and check for stripped threads.

Wear is bad. If the anno is all dinged up and mangled, chances are the gun has had a rough life. Gnarling from using vice grips on bare metal is a bad sign.

Basically just keep an eye out for idiot marks. Take the grip frame off, along with the grips, those are the most likely to strip out.

Yeah I figured that as much. And I looked at the pictures and such and it looked clean. I'll hopefully get to see it up close and check it for leaks and what not.
