Ok. So I know that this is totally off topic and the wrong place but. I have a elite book 8560w. It is a school computer and I can not download any programs to it. I want to use a apple Magic Mouse with it but I have to install software to it for the Magic Mouse to work with it. You can see my problem. Anyway does any one know how to. Pair the two together I don't know if a Bluetooth adapter will work with it. Any help

Have you emailed the IT dept at school? They might be kind enough to install it for you.

Yea I have asked my principal and she can not give me the code to install it

Theres a reason you cant install software on school computers. You're **** out of luck kiddo. Use a different mouse.

The BT adapter requires software that you wont be able to install because your account on the computer does not have administrative rights, presumably.

Magic mouse is nothing special, especially if you are using it on a PC. Also one of the least comfortable mouses out there.

Buy HDD. Swap laptops HDD with the new one. Install windows and drivers. Input key on laptop. Use laptop. Swap HDDs when you have to return laptop. Problem solved.

Or you could just use a normal mouse.
