highend pants?
Hey guys, last season i used p.e. pants, and they were awesome, padded crotch, super paded pants, breathed well, flex well, they were just kinda large and didnt strap down well and were kinda heavy for pants it seemed like, atleast compared to empire pants. my only beef is i always see empire pants with ripped knee's or crotches.. so what pants are like a mix of both? ive been lookin at the exalt thrashers and dxs shank v2's anyone used these? anyone have recommendations?

Exalt thrashers are a little on the larger/heavier side as well and they have two drawstrings instead of straps. With that said, I really like them.

I personally like my empire pants. Breathable light, comfortable and padded.

Dye pants are pretty light and durable. Also, Empire pants are as well. The 2011 Empire pants tend to tear at the knees and crotch, but the 2012 and 2013 models I have yet to see tear. I've been using my Empire Contact Zeros (virtually no padding) for just under a year and they look brand new.

Thanks for all the input and help guys. I just used some empire 2010 ltd pants, love the slim fit, love the padding and padded hip slide section, they breathed well. didnt really like the material the knee and shin padding section was made from so maybe new empire pants are the way to go.
how would you compare dye to empire? tried on empire elbow pads vs dye elbow pads.. needless to say i went with dye, my knee pads are also dye.

Empire have better padding, Dye are more lightweight and a little slimmer.
Empire's 2012/13 pants are ridiculously durable as well.
