Does anybody have their trigger set up to where they took out the spring and only rely on the switch for the return?
If so how does your marker respond?

A lot of people have removed the spring. It makes the trigger pull lighter obviously but you can get trigger bounce aka runaway. Set the trigger activation 1/2 to 3/4 through the pull and see what happens. I personally don't see what the big deal is needing a lighter trigger pull. The spring that's in it is by no means heavy

Removing the spring and messing with the trigger was the result of Hurricane Sandy and leaving me without power for hours. I had to fill the time somehow. I just wanted to see what people experienced with the bounce before I go out and try it this weekend.

i dont use springs in my trigger. as long as its set up properly and your debounce settings are right, it works perfectly

I haven't touched my debounce I will do that this weekend when I run some paint thru it.

This might be of help for anyone who can't manage to keep their Marker from bouncing without the spring.

Makes sense I just feel a little uneasy about bending that part of the switch, with my luck I will have to order a new board.

Played this past weekend and the trigger felt great, I only had to adjust the bounce up half a ms.

It varies form gun to gun i think. My ripper vic didn't have the board piece to rebound the spring (same as no spring basically) when i bought it and no matter what i did to the switch or board settings it bounced out of control. Just paid blast to fix it...On the other hand if my G6R spring isn't in the gun it makes no difference.

Because the youngsters have no idea how much they have to learn from us older guys who had to get creative to muster as much performance as possible when electronics were in their infancy stages.

Trip XIII it is very easy to do and so long as you have a nice set of pin nose pliers you can bow your lever quite easily so long as you're careful. There's no need to flex your leetul gurlymon biceps to do this and a tiny bit of input at a time is fine so you don't go past the point.

I love all the input and thanks it is helpful, but after this weekend I think I found my comfort spot with the trigger. Know that little mod will help in the future next time I get curious on messing with my trigger.
