So the whole BOGO Blue Jackets thing is blowing up in their face. The FB page is filled with people *****ing about how they wanted 4 tickets, but bought 2... or something like what happened to me where I bought 4, expecting 8.

It's a ****storm because ticket master didn't clarify that the tickets were half off.

Can you imagine the outrage when people show up to Nationwide with four tickets and 8 people and 4 of them are going to get turned way.

What a ****ing scam.

If it's half-off tickets... fine...but don't call it BOGO when it clearly is not.

Grow up everyone. You are all lucky to be able to go to NHL games and pay affordable rates for tickets. The Canucks organization has not offered their loyal fans jack ****.

it's still false advertising and horrible PR, no matter what the ticket price is.

Also Dave and I have a $30-40 (or team gear or apparel as well) bet that he or I will finish better than the other person in fantasy at the end of the season. Basically the same bet Zell and I had last year, that I won...because I'm a ****ing beast...

The tickets were already half off (with no indication of that being so)

I ordered 4 tickets at $25 a piece...expecting to get 8 tickets for $100...but ticketmaster informed me that's not how their BOGO works. They already had the price cut in half from $50 a ticket.

That's <del>****</del>ing dumb and their site didn't show that the tickets were already cut in half anywhere. It would have been fine if I had known in the first place, but now I can't get 4 more tickets in the same area.

I just would have ordered 8 in the first place... but when you read BUY ONE GET ONE FREE, you normally don't think that means. ALL TICKETS HALF OFF.

Kinda pissed actually.

Weird. That is kind of bogus on their part.

I will have to see what my schedule is like if I can make it down to the Red Wings vs CBJ game. I really want to get up to Detroit for a game.

Evidently the only tickets they have left are single seats. So you'd have to go on stub hub or something to get a few together...

That's not the ****ing point moron. If they advertise

"BUY A TICKET, GET ANOTHER FREE!"

...that isn't the same as

"ALL TICKETS ARE HALF PRICE, BUT WE AREN'T INDICATING IT TO YOU ANYWHERE ON OUR SITE THAT YOU ARE PAYING HALF PRICE"

How am I supposed to know the tickets I bought were valued at $50 in the first place? **** no one can ever know that. I bought upper bowl tickets in the same area last year for $20 a ticket. But I'm just supposed to magically know that the prices are halved and that's the "same" as BOGO?

**** that. I'm gonna call and ***** at the ticket office tomorrow until they give me something for free. Actual free this time, not just fake free.

My buddy doesn't know where he will be Saturday night. Either way he will be at a game. Nucks vs Duck or Flyers vs Pens. lucky SOB . Pissed I wont be able to see the Jets this year.

Honestly, if there isn't a rule about it (I'm not sure) I would have liked to see maybe them having an extra "A" and going one season without the "C"

Also, half off Wild jerseys at the store in the Xcel today. Tempted to make the drive out there to grab one.

Yeah maybe, but having 4 A's would be pretty useless... Might as well just keep the 3 A's and just not have a C.

Hell the Flyers didn't have a C last year with Pronger out...

I would have understood something like that but at the same time, Lidstrom isn't dead or anything lol ...He just retired. They didn't give Stevie Y that honor when he retired so it might be kind of ****ty to some people to do that all of a sudden.

But it could be kinda cool I spose.

Missed my fantasy draft due to an unplanned family event

My team didn't turn out too bad though. Hopefully Kopitar plays well, if he does come back. In other news, I'm trying to get tickets to the game this saturday.

kinda feel how DMC was feeling yesterday. "individual tickets will go on sale at 2pm on wednesday ranging from 10 dollars to 400". go online nothing less than 80 dollar tickets...then learn that there was a pre-sale earlier today when they didn't make a single announcement about it (even to my friend who is a season ticket holder and is given a code for it each year didn't get an email about the pre-sale)...well I know where all those 10-60 dollar tickets went... nice false advertising.
