I have here an E2 v0.24 and for the life of me I can't get it to shoot over 7 bps, as indicated by the display. I've tried all the other helpful timings from the other threads, but no luck no matter how fast I pull the trigger. The CTO on this version is measured in seconds rather than ms like other versions. If I get it down to 0.1s the solenoid will activate according to the display at 7bps. I'm running with eyes off and tried both settings on/off. Fresh batteries, tried it with gas and paint in, still no faster.

Im sure Im doing something dumb here.. Just don't know what being a newbie to eblades. Maybe the early version boards are capped?

Well there is the e2 manual. Start reading.

take off the right grip panel and hit the red button while the marker is on to access the timing panel.

Go to the factory settings and select "Fast"

It'll go as fast as you feed it with eyes, and about 10 without eyes.

If you don't have eyes, you can adjust the timing of each step of the firing process via that same red button. However each gun works differently so giving basic settings beyond factory fast is lame. Read the manual and understand the whole thing then fine tune your marker accordingly.
