When offensive players lower their head, it shouldnt be a fine or a penalty on the defense. all on the offensive guy for doing it. All the time I see AP lower his head while running.
here is a prime example
Did you happen to see Ryan Clark's hit on Victor Cruz? Clark clearly didn't hit him in the head, but Cruz saw an opportunity to draw a penalty so he laid on the ground and pretended to have been knocked unconscious.
It's nothing against Cruz. I've seen plenty of players feign injury in an attempt to draw a penalty or be granted an extra timeout. I blame the officials for being so easily manipulated and exploited.
Yeah, no. Cruz got his ribs bruised. He didn't "feign injury" to draw a flag. The flag itself was bull**** I agree, but lets not add more bull**** to the pile.

I suppose I should have said "feign or exaggerate"

That's happened plenty this year. Sad that he actually gets away with it. players should be fined for **** like this:
He didn't exaggerate anything, he got hurt on the play...what's he supposed to do just jump up and jog to the sidelines with bruised ribs like its nothing? Jesus what's with the conspiracy theories in here lately?

Just because everyone usually praises the original refs coming back...they totally missed a call in the Denver/Panthers game. When the Broncs returned a punt for a TD, the returner dropped the ball before entering the endzone. Even though scoring plays are reviewed, the refs went to the booth and just looked if the returner stepped out of bounds and didnt even look if he scored or not. And clearly the returner dropped the ball at the 1. So it should have been a tochback for the panthers instead of a TD for the broncs.

The broncos won that game 37-31...so that missed call had an impact on the winner of this game
I found it amusing how the commentators explained it as "Well, the officials were more focused on determining whether or not he went out of bounds" like that was an acceptable excuse. They're supposed to be reviewing the play in its entirety, not just bits and pieces of it.

Right? He got jacked up. Anybody that thinks he was trying to draw a hit to the head penalty by laying on the ground is a moron.
hahaha wow... skipped that in his paragraph of mad... ya even if that had been called back it wouldnt of made any difference in the outcome of the game

Actually, he and I think the Steelers did get fined for that.

The replacements just blow an obvious PI call, **** up the call on the field, review it and still give the team a victory. They also congregate after each ****ing down to see what the **** is going on and where the ball should be spotted. Or what about them giving teams more timeouts than they were allowed?
