A question for all of you: Has anyone shot the luxe with the Deadlywinds 14" whip tip? If so, is it a decent upgrade to the stock barrel front and did your sound signature decrease even more?

I use the whip tip, mainly to keep my regular tips from seeing wear.
Sounds the same, but is a hell of a lot lighter :tup;

I've heavily considered going that same route Kyle rather than risk my electric tip, friend of mine sold one for $20 not realizing they fit luxes...i almost cried lol

I originally bought it when I got my BNIB slime 2.0, it's nice to have because the tip is what gets most of the wear. I really don't care all that much, but when it comes time to sell, you still have that perfect condition
I paid $50 for mine......I would kill for one for $20, I have been looking for another, but I have 2 luxes, 4 shockers and both ions, all have freaks/luxe backs, so one more would be nice lol

Just get the 2.0 core, it's cheaper, and less finicky

matter of preference, easy breakdown
2.0 stock- easy to maintain, o rings fit as needed and dlx knows which exact ones you need, also Oringmonkey.com
pooty FF- nice core, works great, but need to know your o ring fitment very well or watch his videos,
the whole core talk has been dealt with a lot, and many have different opinions, i myself use a stock 2.0 core

^^ sums it up perfect. I was all about the pooty cores originally, had a few of them work flawlessly and loved them, then had 1 bad experience and started using the 2.0 core and I'll stick with it from now on.

The 2.0 is a great core. I only wish it could open in two at the can much like the NDZ. I also haven't had any problems with my stock spring so I do not see the need in upgrading.

I have a pooty core bit just seems so touchy and is it smoother to use a 2.0 core with the ft screw

i'm currently using modded bolt guide, rhino spring and the modified 2.0 bolt from pooty and love it. considered buying the pooty bolt but haven't seen any real difference between the two. It also leaves a lot of room to mess with the FT screw which mine is now 3 -3 1/2 turns in and shooting 12.2 and super smooth.

No, resale sucks on Ego 11s, I had a hard time getting rid of mine. The market is also flooded with them. Some other people have no problem undermining your sale thread with an even cheaper one. Some people have been selling them in WTB's for crazy low prices.
I loved my ego 11 but hell it took me forever to get an decent offer. Though if you know people locally they can be easier to sell. Not the case around here though I couldnt get above an offer of $400 for mine

You can probably pull $600 on here, you will wait forever, and hardly ever get any cash offers

Bingo, yes you can get good offers but it will take you a while. The lowballs will drive you crazy. I had to restrain from blowing up on a few offers after receiving a $400 offer off craigslist, a $450 on youtube, then an Etek 1 plus $100 on here within a day span.
I think the whole wait until its worth PE to release the next ego was a great idea, but it eventually ended up not helping because people are buying them for 2 years and it floods the market with them.
