2012 Spyder Fenix keeps chopping paint!

Just as the title suggests, my fenix keeps chopping paint. I primarily use marballizer (pretty good stuff, $50 a case) and if it didnt chop, i would love it and hold it dear to my heart! Any ideas on why it is doing this and how to fix it?

Eyes clean and working just fine. Sometime it will chop so much paint that the paint will literally bleed from the eye plates!

I'd check out your detents and bolt face next then. Make sure the paintballs don't roll too far back or forward and allow the next one in the stack to get clipped by the bolt.

There is a bit of wiggle room in the breach between the detents and the bolt. I lowered my operating pressure, maybe that will help. Do you think it would help if i bought the techt hush bolt for it? Would it actually stop chopping paint or would it be a waste of time?

I wouldn't bother, personally. How high is the spring tension on the bolt?
