Premium Bolt vs Stock Bolt vs Pillow Bolt Video.
I am in no way a tech, or claim to be. Just wanted to show results I have gotten using the new bolt.
Thanks again Tim2thousand for getting the bolt for me. I wish I could have done a sound test but its raining still....
BOTH THE 1ST AND 2ND VIDEO ARE AT THE STOCK PRESSURES OF 72 LPR AND 190 HPR WITH A DWELL OF 6. I AM RUNNING A LP POPPIT IN ALL THE VIDEOS
First video is a comparison with chrono results. Its about 50 degrees out, using field grade paint and the stock barrel. All setting are still on stock, such as dwell, ABS, etc.
http://youtu.be/zM598fze5w8
Second video I sweetspotted my regs to 60 for LPR and 180 for HPR
http://youtu.be/JbHptCM7fOU
Lastly the Tech-T bolt vs the Premium Bolt at stock pressures

Alright so for findings to make it short and sweet I was able to drop my LPR and HPR. I'm sitting at 60 LPR and 180 or a shade under for HPR still able to chrono at 280's. Feels softer due to the lower LPR and I imagine as I continue to use it I will be able to lower my HPR more as well. Also much quieter.

I'll do Dragon unboxing video. Mines on per-order.
Spoiler alert the first 12 min will be just me crying and not wanting to touch it. The last 48 will be me bunkering the camera repeatedly.

I think that spending $100 on a bolt is absolutely nuts. But I think all gun upgrades are a waste, the gun shoots perfectly out of the box, does the 10psi difference matter? nope. This is just my opinion, please don't take offense if you bought the bolt.

considering that I tech these guns and shoot them regularly - and that I've tried every variation - when I say I'm impressed with a product, I'm not blowing smoke...
My reputation is more important to me than that.
IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE. Whether or not a customer wants the best is an individual decision.

All I know is that the 6r that Tim traded me with the bolt shoots smoother and quieter than my Luxe.. that's saying something.

I tried to stick to just numbers and facts. By no means am I telling people this is a must have. Did my G6R shoot amazing before ? Yep. Does it shoot softer and quieter now? Yep. So I guess it comes down to wanting to squeeze every little bit of performance of the marker. Like I said before though this is not one of those "omg if you don't have it your gun is going to burst into flames" type deal.

Numbers don't lie. And for people who don't think dropping their LPR by 12 Psi is a big deal just do the numbers. Most G6R's run at 70 ish. Dropping it by 12 is a 17 percent drop in your LPR (If I did my math right.)

what i wanna know is: Is there a difference in weight between the stock bolt and the new pillow bolt?
bc that may explain how you guys are able to drop the pressures, also are you using the HP or LP poppit?

Yes there is. The new pillow bolt is heavier and thus has more inertia. This is why he can run a lower lpr and still open the valve the same. In my experience with using heavier bolts in older markers you aren't going to really see a difference in feel, but the gun should run a little quieter. The added inertia could also allow it to be a little gentler on paint since the bolt will be moving with more of a slower push. I see the value in this product just not $100 worth.

So basically this bolt wont increase velocity, but it will allow you to maintain it with slightly lower pressure settings?

My findings so far
Will it lower pressures. Yes by almost 17 percent.
Better on fragile paint. I have yet to test.
Quieter. Yes.
Slight to moderate increase in FPS. Yes.
Am I glad I shelled out 100 for it? Yes.
