Hey All!
For those that don't me, my name is Tony, and I am the author of the Vapor Tuning Guide. I've worked for several years as a gun tech at NewBreed Paintball, and I've worked on a wide variety of markers. (DC2s/Cockers, Pneumags/Xmags, Blazers, Sheridans, Ions, Egos, Vapors, Luxes, DMs, PMs, NTs, Spyders, Clones, Spyder-clones, Minis/Axes, Impulses .... you get the idea.) I've had several requests to do marker repairs via PbN, so I finally decided that it's time for me to make an official thread.
Here's My Service:
~You Pay Shipping Both Ways (USPS Flat Rate Boxes are $12.10 at most)
~
Vapors get repaired and tech'd for free, usually within 24 hours (provided I don't have to replace any hard parts). This includes a full strip, clean, repair, auto-tune, and then fine-tune. I'll have the marker shooting around 280 off a 440 input.
~All other markers get repaired for $15. I'll most likely rebuild the marker as I see fit. (IE If I don't need to take the whole thing apart to fix it, I won't. It saves me time and money, which saves you time and money)
~If I need to solder anything, add $5. I can re-solder board harnesses and wired-eyes at the smallest. I prefer not to do surface mounts unless I absolutely have to.
And here's the fine print:
~"Hard Parts" constitutes anything that isn't an oring, lube, or common sense. If I have to pay for it, I need to pass along the fee.
~I reserve the right to refuse work on any marker I deem a liability. These include: Frankensteins (shocker/ion hybrids, shocker/ego hybrids, etc.) and markers I'd have to make tools for (think older sheridans with threaded valve stems; I only have autococker valve tools).
~I only ship back via USPS Flat Rate boxes because of their reliability. I've had issues with Brown and FedEx is too slow.
~All fees will be discussed beforehand. If I crack open your marker only to find something that needs to be replaced (think threadlock in the solenoid) then I will call/contact you immediately to figure out what you would like to do.
