What’s your best reliability story?

We paintballers have come to know Tippmann markers as the work horses of the paintball industry and are probably best known for their reliability, endurance, and their ability to be customized. Being new to nation I’m just curious to see the most extreme conditions people have put their guns under! What’s your best story of how’ve you beat up on your Tippmann but it still worked?

One time, I picked it up after not shooting it for months, threw some oil in the asa, and shot it. That's about all I got.

I baby my A-5.

I lent my Alpha Black back when I had it to a newbie and got it back all full of sand. Just rinsed it off and it kept working.

I have a tippmann sl68. I was wading through a knee deep pond in the middle of the woods to flank the opponent. I tripped on a submerged stick and fell directly on the marker. When I got out of the water it drained muddy water out of the barrel. Despite the mud I continued on and proceeded to annihilate the enemy from behind. no poblems

I *may* have spent 2 years when I was a bit younger "cleaning" my A5 after a day of play by running it under the sink...
