Every time I see the pics of all the colored tanks together it reminds me of my kids coloring Easter eggs at the kitchen table.

I am wondering the same thing, would the dura bottle eliminate using tape/grips?

Yeah, that is the big question. If it does then these are a good investment to me.

doesnt the dura coating also eliminate the whole problem with the "gel coat" cracking/chipping?

i think if you damage dura coating, you're doing something seriously wrong.

Do those of us with cracked gel coatings still waiting for replacements get dura bottles for replacement?

Its an inch longer than the 68cu bottle we've always offered. Over the last 2 years, a LOT of players have contacted Ninja to try and get our old 70cu bottle. Many players kept telling us that they wanted a long bottle so we listened to you guys, went to the drawing board, and came up with a 77cu/4500psi bottle.

This should be PERFECT for spoolie guys, back players, or people looking for more shots than what our 68cu bottle offers.
is it 4' wide like the 70cu guerilla does or 4.5' like your 68?

I am really hoping for a 3.65' wide 68 cu.... as wide as the 45cu(slim and long)

No. Its a more durable coating that comes in a matte finish. It's not rubber or anything like that. I would still recommend using a rubber tank grip or some other type of non-slip material if you're worried about it sliding around on your shoulder when shooting.

Thank you Rob. I was just thinking the finish might be a bit rougher so it won't be as slick as a gloss coat.

Great product, thanks for the answer.

Is this coating porous at all? Will it stain easily after tank hits or whatever?

well that's a bit of a shame. I know the Purdue players got some prototype tanks with truck liner-type material on them, and I was hoping ninja finally came out with something like that.

Alittle OT: How is Purdue doing over there? I haven't heard a peep out of them yet. Are they focussing on X-Ball this year?
