Ninja, you guys are awesome. Have a lot of respect for companies that listen to their customers and put out quality products. That's how you EARN customers and their loyalty.

while i know people are excited about the dura tanks (I know I am), I'm also interested in the colored pro reg collars. Can we update our pro regs, for a cost, to those new collars in the near future?

Hi dak22. I'm sorry but those were some prototypes we had made to see what players thought. Not a lot of people had noticed the prototype colors on the rings or the dust finish on the reg but when they did, we would ask if people would mind paying more (costs us to add the powder coat on the ring and due more labor to make a dust finish reg) and most said no. I do not think we will release these options.

So I have a 68/45 ninja ultralite. I'm reading the specs on that as 2 lbs 8 oz. the specs on the 77/45 is saying 2 lbs 4 oz. Are you telling me that the new 77 ci are lighter then the current ( Not dura.) 68/45's? Cause it would be mind blowing to add air and somehow shave weight.

Oh that's too bad, but thanks for clearing it up, since I think it was never mentioned in the thread.

Dura 77
Length: 11 1/2" - (From the bottom of the bottle to the top of the regulator)
Weight: 2 lbs 4 oz. - (Weight with PRO Regulator mounted on bottle)

Dura 45
Length: 10 7/8" - (From the bottom of the bottle to the top of the regulator)
Weight: 1 lb. 14 oz. - (Weight with PRO Regulator mounted on bottle)
Hey Rob, could you also tell us the width of these tanks? For comparative purposes, could you also tell us the stats for your 68/4500 with pro reg? Thanks!

saunders182 - thank you very much for your post. I had received weights on a prototype bottle that was sent to us when we first started this project. I just weighed (and took pictures) the bottle without a reg, with a PRO reg, and with an Ultralite reg. Weights are slightly heavier on the actual production bottle vs. the prototype we originally weighed. I'm waiting on the pictures to arrive in my email so I can upload them on photobucket. After I do that, I will post the pics. The 77cu is slightly heavier than the 68. 77cu/4500psi with Ultralite reg came out to 2 lbs 10 and 3/4 oz. I will post the pics shortly.

Very sorry about the misinformation. We should have weighted a production bottle from the start. I'll get these pics posted shortly.

Ninja Dura 77cu/4500psi weight without a reg

Ninja Dura 77cu/4500psi weight with any PRO reg

Ninja Dura 77cu/4500psi weight with Ultralite reg

Ninja Dura 68cu/4500psi Width (yes, this is a prototype dura black 68 but the width is identical to our gloss grey and gloss black tanks)

Ninja Dura 77cu/4500psi Width

Length comparison - 68cu/4500psi vs 77cu/4500psi

Fbook rumors say a company in Springboro OH makes Ninja's cylinders, any legitimacy to that?

I'm interested cause Springboro is very close to me and I work in the manufacturing world. Would love to see the place!

Yes the manufacturer that makes some of our bottles is located in Ohio. Dont think they do public tours though. They do military contracts and the owners of their company can't even get into certain areas of their own building due to top secret projects going on.

Yes, orange is not a banned color. Yellow is. Orange was a couple of years ago.

Definitely buying a 77 dura. Can we order directly from Ninja or do we have to go through a distributor? Rob, shoot me a PM if I can buy directly from Ninja.

Looks like a 68ci tank cover MIGHT fit! Exalt covers should have no problem fitting.
