so im working on making jerseys for my team. we are using the eclipse evx's. my question is do I need to actually contact companies if I want to put their logo on my jersey? or is it "ok" to put dye, or cp, or exault, etc on our jerseys? same goes for event logos like PSP, MAPL etc....

It is a good practice to always ask a company permission to use their logo, 90% of the time the won't take issue. But it has the potential to bite you in the *** if you don't take the 2 seconds to see if they are ok with it. my two cents.

Why would you want to advertise for a company for free? Unless they are paying for it, you're just adding cost to your jersey

What do those companies do for your team, and why should you want to represent them on your jerseys? At the same time, what do you do for the company, and why would they want their logos on your jerseys?

You're not adding cost in any way. Make it real easy you can contact them and ask if its ok but most people won't care your giving them free advertisement and almost all companies eat that crap up as long as its not in any kind of negative light.

Most people wont put a company logo on there jerseys unless they actually have a "sponsor" with them or some kind of deal. PSP or any other league would be more of your support than a sponsor.
