SP LE 07 Shocker NXT value
A gun was stolen from our field, a Limited Edition Shocker NXT. It was a brown/bronze/champagne color with a matching Freak/feedneck/asa. How much would one of these be worth today. The guy is claiming 2000.00 but I am finding that hard to fathom.

Was it a PL? If so...which one?
I can only think of one Shocker that could get near that money (G-Max), but I don't think that's a color of any of the very few.

It wasn't a Private Label, just a normal NXT with a custom finish. It was bought @ World Cup I think one of those one off colors that was never advertised. Supposedly it was one of 8-10 ever made in that color.

Custom colors and finishes can be replicated for around $200. Otherwise, a stock NXT is worth nowhere close to $2K.

Yeah nowhere near $2000, I'd have a hard time paying that much for a G-Max even to be honest. I'm gonna say $300, maybe $400 if it's really sexy but I doubt it for just a stock body

Somewhere around $300 sounds right, maaaybe pushing $400 if it was in pristine condition.

I'm curious what "limited edition" means.

How is it the fields fault the gun was stolen?
I remember going to my local field when i was younger. The owner would stress keeping sight of your personal stuff, and using locks on bags to chain them to the benches....

I can't give any details about it, but it wasn't outside like you assume.

Honestly, you're looking at probably 250-300 as a typical value on a custom-anno NXT.
If it's fully decked out with upgrades, 350.
Certain upgrades would add a bit more, but they are significantly harder to come by these days.
$2000 is a vast over-inflation of the actual value. Hell, it's difficult to even spend $2000 on a base NXT, LE or not.

If it was inside your shop and you had a break in.Then we are not who you need to value something.
Your gonna need pictures of this marker and find 2-3 comps via ebay would be the best way.
That way when ins claim is filed and he gets a check for $250 you can explain to him why.
My local field had a similar thing happen, but the ppl who did it left he ego's dm's and very rare cockers worth $1500 on the wall grabbing tippmans and spyders.
Gotta love a stupid thief.

Or he wanted a quick buck. I bet it's easier to flip Tippys and Spyders on EBay/pawnshops/local sales than it is to sell a rare and unique cocker that will stand out.

Bottom line - a stock body NXT with any amount of ups and anno is still not going to bring more than $500. That's pushing it...but I've seen some really really sick guns out there, and if you just had to have it - that might be what you have to pay.

The comment came from me as I am doing research for a friend of mine, trying to gather as much info as I can for them so she doesn't get bent over and ....... in court.
That was the thread that piqued my interest as I know nothing about Shockers. Impulses, Ions, SP-1's and a Smart Mag is the extent of my Smart Parts knowledge, never messed with a Shocker although I find the NXT a very sexy design, never owned one.
