Broken bolt spring - Luxe 2.0

Recently at practice my bolt spring got bent up and pretty much fell apart.

It was shooting poorly so I took the engine out to clean/relube when I noticed the spring looking mangled. I pulled on it with pliers to see if it would right itself but a portion of it actually broke off.

After that I used it for the rest of the day, but it appears to have created an issue with shootdown at "higher" (10.5 lol) bps. That being said, I have a few questions:

1. Is this something that needs to be replaced often?

2. Is there a higher durability spring I can buy?

3. How do you completely remove and replace the old one?

Thanks.

To remove. Use the tool that came with it. It is a special long Allen key with a handle.

You may need to remove the oring and heat up a the tip of the bolt a little to loosen up the loctite

I bought it used so I do not have access to said tool.

Are there any aftermarket bolts I should consider?

I plan on keeping the marker as improvements seemed to have stopped in the industry over the last couple of years.

You can have your bolt and guide modified by pooty to use a rhino spring(better than stock) or you can buy a pooty system that is also sprung and runs at a lower pressure.

contact DLX directly and get a new spring and tool sent to you, it is a long 1/16 allen key. The spring guide is held in with red loctite so you will need that once you re-install the spring and spring guide.
