Hi. I've been out of playing for about 8 years and I've decided to get back into playing and dust off my bud. I'm reading a lot about HPA and was wondering if it was possible/worth converting to HPA.
I'm not sure if it matters but it was given to me 16 years ago. I'm not sure the actual build date.
HPA is a much better option than CO2 in pretty much every way since it is simply a compressed gas while CO2 exists in the tank as a volatile liquid which must become gas somewhere along in the gun. CO2 will net a few more shots on a comparatively sized tank but that's it. HPA is more consistent and versatile, and you can buy a steel HPA tank for like 40 bucks new anyway.
yes you can use hpa tank instead of co2. hpa is probably the best upgrade for a gun given that you can use it on any gun. the output pressure of co2 and hpa are virtually the same.
Your ninja reg will output 750-900psi (typically 850, ninjas are very consistent)
Your gun CAN handle that, but it wont function well. You need an inline reg to drop that pressure to 350ish.
