Just got my hands on a Tequilla Sunrise Shocktech SFL.

The gun is absolutely gorgeous. I'll post some pics up as soon as I can.

My questions however are, what problems can I expect since this gun has been sitting for about 2 years. I plan on getting some air tomorrow to actually to test it but kinda want to be prepared.

After some examination of it, I can see one of the hoses has a small hole in it.

Hoses and orings may need to be replaced. Put a few drops of oil in the asa first and then air it up and dry fire a few times. This will coat the cup seal and help lubricate the front pneumatics. If anything else is leaking after getting the gun to the right velocity, replace necessary orings/hoses. OR rebuild the entire gun with all new hoses and orings.

I'm for the complete teardown route, but I get a kick out of completely rebuilding them.

If it ain't broke, it doesn't really need fixin. But a proper rebuild can shake out a few hidden problems before they start.

Congrats on the purchase, that's definitely an awesome marker to own. Take care of it.

Appreciate the hookup on this sfl. It's in great hands. Finally got one that I used to own( not this exact, but body style)
