To be fair the people that are being caught off-guard are ACC defenses.
Also, to clarify our discussion from the previous thread; gimmick was the wrong word for onside kicks. It's more of a cheap addition to the game that is unnecessary. I wasn't saying that if it would help my team I wouldn't want my team to do it. Coaches should try to do everything within the rules to put their teams in a position to win. I was saying that the new rule is good because it discourages onside kicks and makes it more difficult to execute a successful one, and that I would be in favor of taking onside kicks out of the game completely.

). Saban won't leave Alabama unless it's for the NFL. Meyer just landed one of the top jobs in the country and wouldn't leave it for a lesser job. The same could be said of Kelly, only he's 3 years deep in his tenure. Carrol is coaching a playoff contender in the NFL; why would he leave that for WVU? And Stoops's name always seems to come up when a big program needs a coach but it never happens and the next year he's still at OU (assuming you mean Bob Stoops, of course).
This is only Holgerson's second year at WVU, have some patience. You have to give him time to get his recruits in place and fit them into his system. 9-3 in the Big XII would not be a bad year.
