I'm disappointed they are sticking to the Axe reg. It's the one part of those markers I really feel they fall short on. It's not the most consistent reg on the market I hope they make some improvements.

1. Who says it's an Axe reg on the marker? The ASA shown in the pictures looks a lot smaller than the Axe reg.
2. I'm curious where you're getting your data on the reg consistency? How would one even gauge that on an Axe? If you're going by consistency over the chrono alone, that's not going to give you an accurate picture of the reg's performance.
Even so... In my experience, it's every bit as consistent as any other marker reg, in terms of consistency shooting the same paint over a chrono.
If it was inconsistent to the point of causing appreciable issues with accuracy or rate of fire, I don't think teams like Infamous and TopGun would have been anywhere near as successful as they have been using the Axe.

Yea I actually think I see a few differences - smaller as you said, the grooves on the front round part are different/longer, that front round part looks bigger, there appears to be some silver collar in the middle (but I don't see it in the video), there's no gauge on the left side, and it looks like there may be a mounting screw on the outside. No reason to really believe it's an axe reg, at least not the exact same.

While I agree the axe reg may not be the sweetest part of the gun........I don't think Empire could have sold a gajillion axes if the thing didn't work very well. They've proven to be pretty solid performing guns for the price.

On a single regulator gun the consistancy over a chrono is a great way to show reg consistancy and recharge rate, although people should be a aware that other factors do contribute. That being said, the reg on the axe is definately a short-coming. The main problem being how annoying it is to rebuild. I'm hoping they changed the design as well.

You will know fear.

The axe reg is fine, almost all problems are a result of it being under lubed from the factory

To anyone interested in the release date of the Vanquish, word on "the street" is March.
You're welcome.

Sorry just bothers me when people put out false info on release dates and all that other crap. Just curious to see with the two guns from Empire and all these other companies coming out with something should be very interesting on performance and price.

For the sake of everyone being happy, Kee is releasing this gun at the 2013 PSP World Cup. There, I said it.
Now, when it gets released well before said date you can all be happy instead of whining and complaining.
