^I thought about doing that. Then realized that this gun is going to be so scrutinized before it even comes out that I don't want my name anywhere near it. Cheers though.

Very definitely NO.

That Vanguard Creed with the Empire logo is a gun I did in a huge hurry in 2010 when we had three weeks before World Cup and were considering working with Vanguard and wanted something to show at World Cup to get people talking. The deal never came through and that gun died with the deal. It has NOTHING whatsoever in common with any new gun from Empire, other than maybe the way I like to style trigger guards.

Simon, can you tell me one thing and one thing only?

Will it get me 6 pods off of a 48/45?

I don't get it... So far I've only seen 68/45s in any of the pictures and I don't really know anyone in the pictures well enough to say that they use a 48/45...

I don't know anything either, but maybe the guy using it in the picture is a back player?

Well, yeah, but I've seen back players with Luxes and 68/45s and that doesn't mean anything to me playing with a 48/45.

If you are so concerned about shot count with a 48/45, which you clearly are because you have posted about it several times, why don't you sell it and buy a 68? Unless you physically can't wrap your arms around a 68, there is no reason to get anything smaller as a regular player.

its not that they're using a 48/4500, hes saying that its being shot by infamous. They're notorious for carrying out 10-12 pods a point.

FYI if you can do some math(If you cant I've done it for you)
12 pods * 140 balls / 68cubic inches = ~24 balls per cubic inch of air.
so 48ci * 24balls = 1150 balls, about 8 pods.

A longer regulator and shorter tank are what I prefer. It's much more comfortable in every regard and it doesn't affect you one bit if I'm wondering if I can get the amount of paint I play with through my tank. I'm not going to change my tank for a gun either, if I'm asking what the efficiency roughly is it's probably for comparison to another marker.

I'm sorry you have such a hard time understanding that some players prefer small tanks and therefore ask about efficiency, but I'm sure you'll figure it out someday.

I've never ONCE seen an Infamous player go out with 12 pods and shoot them all or even most of them in the 2012 season. Not saying it hasn't happened, but I haven't seen it happen yet and I've watched all of the webcasts of the major PSP and NPPL tournaments. Also, Infamous has only been playing with Axes a majority of the time, so if they have ONE player out with the marker and you can't pay strict attention to him, then the efficiency math argument is moot.

I think Travis was the only one shooting it at World Cup in a game anyways.

Also; Kali and Travis always have 10+. Not infamous related but Rich Telford Carries 14 sometimes when he busts out his large tank and stuffs pods in his pockets. For one game in DC I think he carried 15. I have seen other guys carry around the same, so it does happen.
But they always are pretty big with noting when a player is out of paint.

One thing was clear across the board though, whenever someone ran out of paint, they made it known that a player ran out of paint.

The best advice I ever received about tank sizes is this: If you are at all concerned about efficiency, get a larger tank. Full stop. You're going to eventually want/end up with a gun that doesn't get X amount of paint from a 48, and you are unnecessarily limiting yourself instead of ponying up the 30-40 dollars that switching tanks might cost. That's a pretty dumb way to go at it.

A bigger tank gives you a better range of options, and that definitely surpasses a little bit of comfort.

I thought maybe you could try using your powers of inference.

Except the thing is I've never actually WANTED a spoolie. I've shot them because of availability, but I've always been completely partial to poppets. If a poppet doesn't get 6 pods on a 48, then it's just not worth it. That being said, if this is a poppet of some sort (If it's been confirmed, I wouldn't know) then I see no reason not to ask. I can't say if I want the gun yet, but I won't be interested if it doesn't shoot the tank I have.

Quote:

But there's a divide between comfort and my hand being forced outwards. As it stands, the most comfortable tank I've used was a Guerrilla Air 88ci tank, but my wrist would rests on the tank and stick out that far. Now I'm aware I could throw my long reg on there, but then that would be a solid pain in the ***.

You see where I'm coming from? I'm so used to playing a certain stance after so many markers and a few years, and if I could get a dropforward for my guns and not have mask collision issues I would and get a 68, but I can't and trying to work myself out of my posture has proven harder than using a poppet (which I've always preferred anyway).

Quote:
Ah, you think you are clever, don't you? That'll pass, don't worry.
I've never thought that, I've even publicly stated the opposite, but you just seem to think that me using a tank is simply for comfort when in reality there are more factors than that.

And I DID use my powers of inference, a back player with a Luxe (Which has pretty bad efficiency) and a 68/45 can still sling a LOT of paint meaning that them just being a back player doesn't matter one bit unless they're Rich Telford and just blowing paint down the field the entire time they're out of their bunker.

No kidding, three players arguing over one using a 48/4500 and acting as if they are intellectuals of some sort.

I want to hear from the individuals earlier that said the Luxe's efficiency is going to drastically improve.

Check his profile and find his threads. He has more info there. I believe he has a Shocker and Luxe bolt coming soon. Here is one of his threads:
