As far as I know that's not how it was done. It's more likely it was done like the Texas Storm G6r's. Those were not BL guns. Well they were made and milled by BL, but sold exclusively through AES. Many, many PL guns are done that way. Countless Impulses, Shockers, and Timmys (among others) were done in that fashion. Just because they are Bob Long markers, and made by him, doesn't mean he wasn't contracted to make the guns for KEE. Same as the Luxe with SP and now CP. Were they DLX guns or SP/CP markers?
In fact I believe it was Simon Stevens who designed the original empire Timmy body. Who worked for NPS at the time.
Again, I'm not saying that it is or isn't a G6r, but there is no reason to believe it can't be.
Edit: Okay, I misspoke there...the Texas Storm guns may or may not have been sold exclusively through AES, but I would bet AES got a cut of all the sells. Maybe they even distributed the gun wholesale.

Considering that empire gets their products name from items found in Home Depot some of the names for the new marker could be:
1. The Hatchet
2.The Chainsaw
3.Sledgehammer
4.Razor
5.the Tool
who knows....

The back kinda looks like an Angel. It's hard to tell if it's skinny or really wide with the netting and low quality pic.

I do agree that a pl gun (let's take Empire) will get a cut from the sales. I guess we shall see in around 5-6 days about this then
Thank you for having a legitimate conversation with me.

KEE purchased Smart Parts intellectual property, so we could see:
a newly designed max-flo reg
more efficient inline poppet

something about the shape seems very awkward, like Vanguard markers.
They really should make a stretched out Axe, or find a way to relocate the battery into the frame (small rechargeable batteries on either side of the air tube?) so that the front grip can be smaller.
Anyone can see I'm a big fan of the Axe, and Simon usually does a great job with design. Hopefully what we are seeing is a heavily camouflaged test marker.

Covered in tape or not, the shape of the grip frame even in that picture makes it look more akin to a VL Triton and other low ends. Seeing the ripped of version of the Luxe reg cover is sad as well.
