Appa levels and difference

What is the difference in each level for the APPA
D5
D4
D3
D2

The ranks are a benchmark for experience in tournament paintball. D5 is more or less the lowest rank you can have short of unranked. D4 is usually local. D3 is where players start to be competitive, D2 is usually national level experience, and D1 is highly competitive at the national level. If you've never played an APPA sanctioned event, you're unranked.
