Need Help With This 07 Ego. PLEASE HELPPP!!!!
Hey guys I just picked up an 07. Traded a bike for it.
Anyways here it goes.
About 3 weekends ago I tested the gun out for the first time. I could not get it over 270 fps tops. Then 2 weekends ago I tested it out again after completely cleaning the gun and re oiling/ re lubing the gun and it did not want o shoot over 250-260. AND NOW! the gun fires a little stronger than what it would do in training mode. I don't even think it is making a full cycle. I am completely stumped.
What I have tried:
-Cleaning the whole gun and re-lubed/re-oiled everything
-Replaced all orings on Rammer
-Replaced diaphragm in QEV
-Different Batteries including a paintball energy one.
-stock settings on board.
-raised dwell to check
-split the solenoid in half and cleaned any excess oil between electronics and aluminum.
-Made sure I have all 16 pieces in regulator
-Made sure LPR is put together correctly
-I have air so dont say check air
-My tank has a myth reg which is mid pressure or high... i forget
IM HOPING THE SOLENOID DID NOT GO!
If jack or nicky could chime in it would be great.

It does sound like solenoid problems to me.....I have had similar issues if you aren't able to get the bolt to cycle on stock dwell, and after orings, battery, still doesn't do it. Make sire lpr is set high enough but not too high.
if that's no go but raising the dwell gets a bolt cycle its pretty much the solenoid.

Are all 16 shims in the correct order? Also, good battery?

good battery yep (energizer), all 16 shims in right order... even tried different reg..... I just took it apart and for some reason the diaphragm in the qev wasnt sitting correctly in the silver piece. Would this have that much of an effect on the gun.

yes in the older egos the diaphragms go bad after a while replace them and everything should be all good

no guys I replaced the diaphragm a week ago...... it was just sitting in the qev wrong. maybe that was it. I will come back with updates after I test it this weekend cause right now I have no air. If it does fix that problem there is still the problem that it will not shoot over 265 at the most. and to that i have no idea how to fix.... but im thinkin rammer?

I am gonna try a couple new batteries again and do the no qev mod this weekend. but still idk what else to do. I also bought a full rebuild kit and i am replacing every single oring on it. Anything else I can try? Im completely lost and i dont thinks its the noid

What barrel U using? If using a .693 and most paints are .685-.680 it will throw off FPS
Change ram orings and check LPR and reg seat

How many shims in the HPR? Could you try a different reg on it?
Also try a different asa.

It would seem, that now try to find someone that would let you swap your noid to try to see if that's the problem.

It's not the noid if you're shooting over 150. Sounds like it's the #11 oring on the back of the rammer.
If it's not that, make sure you're lpr isn't turned too far in. What is your dwell set at? Has that been touched? Lastly, do you have the stock rammer in the marker? If it has a TI rammer - that could also be your issue.

This. I would reset settings to stock, try a new brand name battery such as Energy paintball, Energizer, Duracell, etc., change the rammer orings, and make sure your LPR isn't adjusted too far in.

I tried setting the settings back to stock and replace the number 11 oring twice just to make sure. I even did the no qev mod to make sure it wasnt a qev either. I tried raising the dwell 2ms up to 18 from the stock 16 and maybe got 5 more fps... maybe. i got it to shoot 280 every couple shots but for the mos part it stays around 265. I have tried different batteries as well. I will try a friend's noid this weekend. I also will try adjusting the lpr farther out. idk what the heck to do

what bolt? i have an 07 that i was using the stock bolt, only getting 260-270. tried a sl8r cure bolt, 240's. i bought the kush bolt, 315. i have it tuned to a constant 280 now. and i tried everything like you did. i'd get a new bolt.
now i sit at 2 turns in lpr and just below stock hpr pressure.
