What kind of barrel should I get

I have an Axe with the stock barrel on it right now. How much would the barrel improve how the gun shoots? Should I just buy a new board instead? If a barrel, what about bore sizes? Yeah, a lot of questions. If you can help out please do. Thanks!

A board won't make your marker shoot better. It may give you more options, a screen, or whatever but it will not get you more eliminations.

A barrel WILL make your marker shoot better, and as such get you more eliminations. You're looking at better accuracy through consistency. You'll also get a slight bump in efficiency if you underbore. Grab a good kit with a broad range of bores from .679-.689, I assume the stock axe barrel is .693 so that can be your largest bore for swollen/cr@p paint. Freak is always a good bet, and the deadlywinds is a great way to go for freak barrels. You could also piece together a kit from one piece barrels like CP, buy your kit over time at around $35/barrel.

Figure out what kind of paint and what size your field uses, then get a barrel with the correct bore size and you'll be set

As the others said, get a kit if you're going to be shooting several different kinds of paint. But if you are consistently going to be shooting the same paint, I recommend just buying one barrel.

Going to different fields, you are likely to be limited to whatever paint they sell. Personally, I would recommend a kit.

That having been said, practice is the only thing that can make one shoot better The most accurate barrel/marker setup will merely lob the paint exactly where you're aiming...

I would grab a deadlywind as it accepts freak inserts and is made of solid carbon fiber.

I've had tins of barrels.
Deadlywinds is still my favorite.
