Packs are high enough in price, adding strong magnets would only cost more and weigh more..
And magnets lose their strength over time.

I also had a Lysk Sheath, and it dropped pods all the time.

i like the idea of the structured frame pod pouches, not sure how many others offer this but it is a very nice idea.
The pack looks great but I feel the same about others too.

All valid responses - I am in the market for a pod pack right now and so far I haven't found one that jumps out at me.
I hate when the 2008 pod packs cost the same as a 2012 pod pack. Dye pod packs are amazingly only 2x the price of all the rest too lol.
GI may be the direction I go.

would packs with strong magnets mess with the boards on guns? especially OLED boards? if so that may be a big reason i wouldnt want one. yea the magnets would be on your back away from your gun but there is a good chance they would come into close contact at some point in most people's gearbags or in the pits if you take your pack off. but again certain magnets may have no effect on boards. idk

Lysk packs use magnets and they have videos proving that it doesn't affect the boards or smartphones for that matter.

Already been done.
I bet one reason companies continue to use velcro is that it DOES wear out, requiring people to go buy new packs when the pull tabs are worn out. It keeps people buying...its pretty sad. Make things to last damnit!
I have a Critical v2 pack and its amazing, no velcro tabs, no magnets, just good elastic design. http://www.criticalpaintball.com/Cri...2stealth45.htm
Never dropped a pod with it. I highly recommend it.
