Is anyone interested in starting a Luxe Voicepack download site? I don't mind hosting them if we want to actually start sharing the voice packs themselves and not just youtube videos of them.

Ok, I've created a new email address and I'll host the voice packs for everyone. If you want yours added, send them to:

luxe @ teamattrition . com

Without the spaces. I don't want to get flooded with spambot junk or get a mess of viruses. I have corporate level antivirus on the account that email forwards to, so they'll be scanned 3 or 4 times through 3 or 4 virus scanners before they make it onto the list.

If this is successful, I'll create a new thread and update it when I get new ones. What I won't do is post the examples for every single one of them. Here's the format I think works well. Please include it in the email to me, and I'll copy it into the thread when I post them.

Username: DravenTheShocker

Voice Pack Description: I'm Ron Burgandy's Voice Pack? (In this section, include if it's actually a serious playable pack. 10 minute song intros for bootup aren't practical. I'd also include if it has explicit content. Some people don't want their guns dropping F-bombs).

YouTube Video Example: (You upload a video of the voicepack to Youtube to show people some examples of the sounds. Bootup, shutdown, etc).

Download: (I'll fill this in with my server's address and a direct link to the pack)

Rating: (This section will be a relative rating of the quality of the pack, derived by the relative judgement of the people who have tried it.)

I'm going to take some time and build some when I get back from vacation to get the ball rolling. South Park, Family Guy, Anchorman, Star Wars... We'll see what else sounds good at the time. Maybe some Knight Rider and A-Team too, since I'm a sucker for the 80s.

To share voice packs might I suggest the following.

WINDOWS - Put your Voice pack in it's own folder
WINDOWS - Right Click the folder and "Send to" - "Compressed (zipped) folder"
WEB - Go to www.box.com and create a free account
WEB - Upload your Zip file
WEB - Select share and "Get link to File"
PBNation - Post the link
