BACKSTORY

In the summer of 1990, Independence of a sort came to the people of Belarus. The great Soviet Bear weary, broken and heavy with the burden of its people lumbered off to sleep. The light of liberty burned fast and bright in the Soviet satellite states, but with the Bear defeated the fire was no longer fed, and soon that light was snuffed out, hope replaced with a familiar fiend.

Fast forward 22 years, the brutally consistent reign of President Aleksey Pankevich has whittled away the freedoms declared on that hopeful day in July of 1990. Gone were the free press, free speech, free religion, and free assembly. With one hand in the countries coffers and the other around its throat, Pankevich has had a death grip on his people. With nothing to offer the world, the promise of freedom and the lawyers, guns, and money it would bring were but a distant and fading memory.

Mainly an agrarian economy, with light industry consisting mainly of textiles and machinery, such as farm equipment and tractors the ex-Soviet bloc would buy what the world would not, but rarely did that trickle fully to the people. The Belarusian people however were a warrior’s tradition with a long and proud history of resistance and what sparks fleeting freedom ignited, soon a fire would rage out of control.



Commanding the Government Forces is Peter "Cookie Monster" Murphy from the Exiled Souls. Pete's XO is "Headhunter" from SOVA (Southern Virginia Special Ops).


Commanding the Rebel Forces is Jonathan "Waldo" Rullan. Waldo's XO is Steve "Santa" Santagata of Lies and Deception Paintball Team.


COMMERCIALLY MANUFACTURED LAUNCHERS ONLY, NO HAND-MADE LAUNCHERS ARE PERMITTED.

Chrono Limit: 280 fps.

We will have a limited amount of HPA tanks for rent for this event.

Cancellations must be made 72 hrs. prior to game start. No refunds or transfers.

Late arrivals will be chrono’d and inserted into the game at mission/section breaks
Schedule:

7:30 a.m. Registration & Air Open
9:00 a.m. Rules Briefing & Prize Give-away
9:30 a.m. Teams head to fields
10:00 a.m. Game Starts
5:00 p.m. Game Ends
5:15 p.m. Post Game Scores and Awards/Give-aways

Late arrivals will be inserted into the game at the regular - Rejuvenation times


Permitted:
Paint and smoke grenades (non-heat generating), radios, mortars, and semi-auto markers.

Prohibited:
Home made Nerf Launchers (Commercially Manufactured Launchers ONLY)
Homemade grenades of any kind
Grenade launchers
Laser sights
Paint other than event paint
Full-Auto or multi-shot burst markers

Hi, I'm Cookie Monster, I am the general for the Government Forces and my XO is Alvah Downs of SOVA... I like cookies, winning, and having a great time playing paintball, and if you like those things too then come play for myself and Al. Also if you play for the government forces you get to say things like "Die you rebel scum." Either way come out and have a great time at a great field. Did i mention that its a flat field... no hills. So come out and play for myself or Waldo, obviously i'd prefer for you to play for me, but come out either way and have a great time.
