GIS Spatial Database Administrator. Basically Oracle DBA for mapping. Spend most of my time doing web development for map viewer for the County in javascript/java

Doing great, Got my marriage liscenses for the wife and I yesterday, got all our insurance crap taken care of for the next year  *God i love employer health benefits* and i'm lining up the rest of my bills to be taken care of before i leave for vacation on thanksgiving

Mechanical designer (Mechanical Engineer without the engineering degree. I'm still working on that part lol.) Design machines for the food packaging industry. Dairy stuff mostly yogurt, ice cream, stuff like that. My computer pisses me off on a daily basis. A few good slams of my mouse on my desk usually fixes that though.

Windows Server Admin for a Boat motor company. Very stressful the past few days. One of our primary lines has been having lots of issues. And being one of our primary lines, its also our biggest money maker. So we have execs breathing down our necks.

You should apply for a GIS related position with an Oil & Gas company. With your programming experience, you would be a shoe-in as a GIS Manager.
