Well the repair bill at the dealership went from 400- to almost six in a blink of an eye. Oh well, atleast the charger won't clunk with a hogged out control arm- damn car has 4 on each side!!

Not all that uncommon. My Wrangler is the same way and if you think charger arms are pricey, you should see what a set of long arms runs for a wrangler....

A full set of decent arms is about $2200. Nicer are obviously more.

Not true. Stock jeep repairs are among the cheapest out there. Labor is typically half the time are anything else do to the simplistic design. It's when you modify that it gets pricey.
Hell I know several wranglers that i work on that are 300k plus on almost all original parts.

Mine was a Cherokee, not a Wrangler. Not sure if there is all that much of a difference, but not only was it big enough for our growing family but I was tired of every little thing breaking.
Not an expensive or difficult part to replace, but the ignition switched seized up on mine. Of all the vehicles I've owned, I have never seen that happen before.

Big difference in wrangler and Cherokee- one is frame (wrangler) other is unit body (Cherokee) diff. Platforms and they are costly. I owned 4 Cherokees. I'd buy them when the rear main seals go and the smoke from the oil hitting the cross over pipe- I jacked the bumper up so the axle drops and pull the oil pan- two bolts and 35 minutes later the two piece seal is put back in (15 bucks) and you have a sweet inline 4.0 6 4x4 beast. Love those inline 6s

TBH, I know jack **** about vehicles.
I've replaced an alternator before on a '97 Explorer, and i've changed oil.
Beyond that? I can't even say for certain I completely understand how internal combustion engines work...
Give me a PC or Windows Server that's acting up and I'm your guy. LOL

THIS! Nothing pricey or complicated about repairing a stock jeep, but when you start customizing, god DAMN to those parts get up there...

Sad part is, to get it where I want it I'm looking almost another $20k. That's why I'm buying the Camaro SS in spring... Which I'm sure will be just as expensive to build to how i want it....

Yeah, well a jeep (besides the stupid commander) can't fit 2 adults and 4 kids.
Like I said in my previous post. I had to get rid of my jeep.
