Here are the prize packages for the 2013 season. The prizes listed, will be given out at each event, including the East Coast Cup.
For each division. The divisional team that places first will have first choice from the divisional prize package. The second place team will have second choice and the 3rd place team will receive the remainder of the divisional prize package.
Cash Payout (5-MAN) - The Cash payout is based on Divisional (D4 or D5) 5-MAN team participation, beginning at registered team 15, the EPL
will put $100.00 per entry into the prize package that will be split evenly amongst the eligible 5-MAN
division (D4 or D5). The cash payout will be a 50/30/20 split for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places respectively.
5-MAN Cash payout example - Division 4 has 20 teams paid. The EPL will add 500.00 to the Division 4 prize package. 1st place Division 4 would receive $250 cash plus 1st choice of the Division 4 prize package. 2nd Place would win $150 plus 2nd choice and 3rd will still win $100 cash plus the remaining Divisional prizes.
The same example would apply for Division 5 if they had 20 teams participate at any given conference event event.
To clarify, the cash payout is not based on the number of D4 and D5 teams combined.
