Really cool old school footage - Atomix!!

Some footage from the early 2000's.

Lots of badass guns: Atomix shooting Meteor Impulses, Eclipse shooting some Angels, 2k2 Timmys, and even some AKA!

Enjoy.

A lot of those Total Eclipse dudes were/are from around here. @1:41/2:25 etc, forget his name (hard to tell anyways) but I owned his AKA Viking for a season.

Throwback video! Thanks for posting.

Nothing like forward caps over masks. Raw.

Haha! Was Burberry a thing? Looks like I was fashionable and never realized it.

Cap was b/c of the torrential downpour we were experiencing.

For some reason I feel like I remember a lot of burberry around that time..maybe I'm just talking out of my ***.

That viking is sick! Was it un-milled?

Half-milled. That was 2005, hard to believe, when I had it. It was a heavy SOB but it was seriously fast, with that CP barrel it was accurate and really good on air too.

Wish I had a couple photos of the Viking but sadly I do not.

Phewsh..sounds awesome! I've been thinking about trying to trade for a viking or something along those lines.

I'm surprised that this post has not brought on more discussion...

If you aren't worried about having to hold that sucker up (it's kinda like an upper-body work out and playing 'ball at the same time) I'd do it. They are pretty rad.

I guess the kids these days don't care for the 'ol days ;P

Wait...if those are the old days, am I old?

Burberry Headbands were very popular. At least in the west coast billed caps and billed beanies were also popular.

Yeah the billed toques (whats a beanie?? lol) were around here as well, I'll dig some of those photos up later haha.

Is there a devoted thread for photos from seasons gone by?

Guilty.

It's funny that the years I consider to be "the golden years" are now oldschool to many players. You guys want old? I remember when I first heard about paintball in 1999 and some buddies and I looked up videos online this is one of the ones we found.

I was also waiting for someone to mention that...or the fact that it's clearly on a shocker haha.

I owned the Viking at the time the photo was taken so I'm not sure exactly what led to me using that shocker. The Halo wasn't mine either.

I agree with you. I say old school because, well, it is old but I'm sure many would agree that those indeed were the golden years of paintball(just about everything we have been talking about in this thread).

Back when rec ball fields were filled with 7-7 or 10-10 on a speedball field and there was a full range of different guns.

I'm only 20..so these vids are pretty old school to me but I started playing paintball because of the Team Wiseguy's videos. Which are definitely old school..I highly recommend those videos.

In any case..that picture is ****ing sweet. You've got some nice shots of yourself mate.
