This is huge. Good to see the Industry taking Milsim and Magfed seriously, because we've lost so many people to Airsoft. This isn't the 90s anymore. Kids grow up playing COD and Battlefield, and gear like this is exactly what they want.
Now that Dye's on board, Milsim doesn't have to mean a sacrifice of performance. The ergonomics look fantastic. Love how they've dropped the stock below the barrel line so you can get your face in there.

Given Dye's usual pricing structure I think most "kids" will be priced out of this market.

There will always be a market for the high end. People and their money are easily parted when it comes to paintball's finest.

Tiberius already did the hopper/mag combo feed, but I will admit the gun looks really nice (and I'm not a milsim guy at all).

snipe with the mag/first strike rounds.....
then when you get cornered and **** hits the fan... switch to the hopper (pinokio with a long nose attachment) and FULL AUTO!
sounds like fun to me.

When fired they behave more like a bullet than a paintball. The fins allow for much greater range and accuracy.

some of us already know the dealer price so its safe to say they will be from 900-1100

since FSR do like 320 fps when normal balls goes 270.. how does it fix this when switching between mag and normal feed? if it even fixes it? people would run around shooting "hot", maybe forget to switch to hopper in close combat and break a mask?

dwell adjusted when you switch? it does seem like it would be simple to do with a electronic gun
also 320 will not break a mask lol c02 spikes can get guns shooting way higher than that

Wonderful Question.
When I was using both in my Tiberious 8.1 I would set paint to 255/260, FS was about 285-295. Never seen a 50fps increase but 20-30 was very common.

It depends on the bore size. It's the exact same thing if you pod up with a different brand of paint that's .689 after chronoing your first pod at .679. You'll see like 30fps increase. It's not unique to First Strikes, and it's something normal paint users should be aware of as well.

on the field i play on we have rules that say after change of ball you must re-chron but if people actully do it is another matter ;< hard to keep check on all when we have bring your own ball |
