WOW!! Shut up and take my money. Oh wait, its a DM11 again. Damn it. So they just made the hole in the DM12 and then they decide to close it up and call it a DM13 GTFOH!

Dye's placement of the fitting is excellent and does not get in the way so I don't see how anyone can take issue with it. Macroless might be better/cleaner but it doesn't automatically relegate external Macroline setups as bad in any way, shape or form.
Who owns that one now? IIRC it was originally claimed by SP.

I am not aware of a hoseless patent that anyone is paying royalties on. Do you have a patent number?

There is nothing innovative about hose less markers. They have been around since the beginning of paintball.

Why bash Dye for annual releases? Dye continues to sponsor leagues and teams around the world. They are obviously doing something right.

Another DM, another line of haters. Before all you PE/BL/etc fan boys decide to hate on a new gun by dye, i strongly suggest you ACTUALLY shoot one. I can honestly say the Best shooting guns on the market today are the DM series and the Luxe's. Hands Down. As for your resale arguement, No paintball gun is a sound investment if you only own it for a year. None of them. They all lose a considerable amount of value once you open the box. Now buying a new DM13 and owning it for 4 years? I think you get your moneys worth out of that purchase dont you? Dont buy guns on resale and marketing gimmicks, Buy guns because they feel good and shoot $Money$, and the DM series does it every year.

By the look of the picture they have given it alittle bit tune up on the outside, trimmed down some of the body and a bit more aggresive milling.

I like it so far by the looks of it, just gotta wait and see if they have done anything to the inside.

With the macroline issue, its no issue.
Ive used DMs for a few years now, aswell as a few other including luxe.
And after having problems with all of them from on time to another the macroline is good for teching.
With macroline u can take of the frame and still air it up, making teching easier.
Eclipse said that this was why the wont go away from macroline for at least awhile and i understand that fully.

Looks terrible in my opinion, I really like what they did with the DM12 and this just looks like a triple decker bus on a grip frame!. Boo Urns!

I wish dye would add space between the reg and trigger guard, I hate wrapping around both. If they slid the frame back and added a space they would be more comfortable to me, totally my opinion. Hopefully there is something worth noting inside the marker, cause it looks very similar on the outside.

I don't think I can shoot any other marker after using my DM for a whole season. Sure, something like a Clone/GT might shoot smoother, but its grip frame is straight metal.

Paintball News Rules
  1. No Upping threads. If you have something to say, please do, but don't post in the thread just to take it to the top of the forum.
  2. Do not post "1st post", "1st", "First post" or anything similar (or with any other number) at any point in a thread, even if you post a comment too. It is really annoying and it will result in a ban.
  3. If you don't like something, say why instead of just calling it ugly, lame, gay or any other name. If it is old, simply post a link or report the post with a link to the older News thread.
  4. Please don't post links for places to buy items. That encourages stores, sponsored players and other people to do it and spam the site.
If you have questions, please post them in the Talk to Mods/Admins forum.
