Nerf Pocket Vortex from wherever you can find it. All prices are about the same give or take a buck or two. When you find some, buy a lot. Supply drops randomly and then reappears.

Well at the LVP game earlier this year we also shot twinkies and the large marshmellows from our launchers. This is no joke! I think twinkies have disappeared but marshmellows are plentiful in many stores. They both actually fired pretty well. One of my team mates got an AT kill with a twinkie!! On another note some people have made sovat loads and shot paintballs from them. You get maybe a 40 yard range.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the jcs f69 rockets.

they perform as well as nerfs, but are more robust. They are a solid foam rocket, no plastic rod in the tail to break, and the fins are more pliable.

They are expensive and have a very short life expectly when you hit a hard target or shoot them through some branches. I had 6 of them only able to shoot them no more than 3 times before they tore up. Problem is center of tail and shaft is hollow.

the two JCS rounds that I shot were also not too terribly accurate compared to the Nerfs fired immediately afterwards out of the same launcher.

Alot of the airsoft AT guys at Fulda last year were using the marsh mellows too. The one guy was telling me to open the bag the night before so they get just a little stale. Too stale and they are hard as rocks. Anyway, he tossed his into a ziplock bag with talc so they dont stick in the barrel, then would take some ribbon like what we use for arm tape, and thread the ribbon through the marsh mellow and tie it where it made a tail about a foot or better. Said it tail stabilizes it a bit.

My son found these high density foam rockets from EVIKE.COM. at the WESTPOINT game this weekend. Have not fired them just yet. The fins and body seem a bit fragile. I guess using a little gorrila glue to reinforce them would help out a little. I heard there priced at $3.

Does anyone throw the anti-tank salvo OR does it have to be from a launcher?

The fins on those Evike will tear off after a shot or two. The AT rounds have to be fire by a launcher to count. Otherwise commanders will issue them to all their players.

We do a satchel charge.Has to hit the top of the tank, can stay on or fall off. Or the tank has to run over top it.

I still think $3 for the nerf Vortex/Aero are a good deal for reusable rockets. Tried others and they don't work as well or are unsafe.

the nerfs are obviously the best ammo out there. but i know a better round can be made . It's just who is going to step up and do it. I have some ideas hopefully i'll get some prototypes done this winter. they have to be safe of course. a slightly heavier more accurate round for tank only battles woukd be awesome too

We have had issues with players finding the rockets after they have been fired and tearing them up. After one game we found a few piles of about 10 rockets in each pile that somone had torn up so that they couldn't be reused.
